ProSphere was awarded a new task order under the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) for the Office of Information and Technology Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) for Health Portfolio – Electronic Health Record (HP-EHR) Program Management Office (PMO) support. ProSphere will provide program and project management, functional planning, and documentation analysis in support of the HP-EHR Program as well as multiple HP-EHR projects. This support includes program/ project documentation, administrative support, risk management support and IBM® Rational Tools Suite support.

These tasks will supply support for enterprise-wide IT projects. Each project provides critical IT products in direct support of Veterans and their families, such as mental health/suicide prevention and a computerized patient record system (CPRS). Veteran Affairs recognizes that veterans are at an increased risk for suicide and has implemented a national suicide prevention strategy to address this problem. This includes multiple processes and strategies designed to better identify and treat Veterans in emotional crisis in hopes of preventing suicide. The CPRS is a continuation project and provides an integrated patient record system for clinicians, managers, Quality Assurance (QA) staff, and researchers. The primary goal of CPRS is to provide a fast and easy-to-use application that makes available to providers the information needed in the clinical workflow process.
